Mix together
1 white cake mix
2 eggs beaten
1/2 cup of melted butter
2 cups of Smarties
Put in 9 x 13 sprayed baking pan
350 degrees for 20 minutes

We had a lot of fun and laughs making these Troll Cupcakes.
White cake mix – make batter as instructed and divide batter into 3 and add food colouring (we did blue, pink and yellow)
Pour a little of each colour into greased muffin tin
Use a toothpick and swirl it thru the cupcake- not too much you don’t want a grey cupcake!
Bake according to directions
While cupcakes are baking – make cotton candy, we have a cotton candy maker
If not just buy it
Once cupcake are cool -ice the cupcake place cotton candy on top and use 2 candy pieces for eyes
So fun!

Ben and Jerry’s Cherry Garcia ice cream has always been a favorite of mine, and I’ve been dying to try making it at home. As soon as I saw a bag of fresh cherries in the grocery this spring I grabbed them up and immediately started on a batch of this ice cream. Pitting all the cherries takes some time, but it’s worth it! The amaretto flavor comes through really well in the ice cream and pairs wonderfully with the fresh, sweet cherries.

I’m going to be honest with you. I haven’t felt much like cooking or baking lately.
I don’t know if it’s the heat of the summer or if I’m just too caught up in summer-time fun and stuffing my face in other places, but I’ve just haven’t found myself motivated to make and blog new recipes lately.
I did throw these ice cream sammies together for some friends on the 4th of July though, and they were so good I think you really need to know about them.

Who wants to stand over a fire roasting s’mores when it’s 100°F outside? Not this girl. So I made the ice cream version. The recipe is simple.
Toasted marshmallow ice cream + a fudge ripple, sandwiched between some almost-stale graham crackers.

What do you do on summer vacation?
Well, make a Rainbow Cake of course. I thought my next post would be September however the kids wanted to make this so why not include it.
Buy a white cake mix – yes, take the easy route
Divide batter into six -add colours
Pour a little of each colour batter in baking tin
Follow baking instructions
So cool, so fun!
