Prepare 2 cups of quinoa as instructed – let cool
Add:
1 cup of pecans
1 cup of cranberries
1/2 cup of crumbled goat cheese
Dressing:
1/3 cup of maple syrup
1/3 cup of balsamic vinegar
1/3 cup olive oil
Shake dressing pour over salad and blend
MUSHROOM RISOTTO
Prep Time: 20 Minutes Ready In: 50 Minutes
Cook Time: 30 Minutes Servings: 6
Ingredients:
6 cups chicken broth, divided
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
1 pound portobello mushrooms, thinly sliced
1 pound white mushrooms, thinly sliced
1 1/2 cups Arborio rice
1/2 cup dry white wine
sea salt to taste
freshly ground black pepper to taste
4 tablespoons butter
1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:
1. In a saucepan, warm the broth over low heat.
2. Warm 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir in the mushrooms, and cook until soft, about 3 minutes. Remove mushrooms and their liquid, and set aside.
3. Add rice, stirring to coat with oil, about 2 minutes. When the rice has taken on a pale, golden color, pour in wine, stirring constantly until the wine is fully absorbed. Add 1/2 cup broth to the rice, and stir until the broth is absorbed. Continue adding broth 1/2 cup at a time, stirring continuously, until the liquid is absorbed and the rice is al dente, about 15 to 20 minutes.
4. Remove from heat, and stir in mushrooms with their liquid, butter, and parmesan. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
During the summer, burgers on the BBQ are a hit. Everyone dresses up their burger to their liking.

Shrimp are a wonderful seafood delicacy. Their meat is delicate and sweet, they take only a few minutes to cook, and presentation is never a problem with a half of a lemon
Use raw, deveined, tail on shrimp
Bring salted watered to a boil
Drop in shrimp for 3-4 minutes or until pink!
Drain and add cold water immediately

Cook 500kg or 1 pound lean ground beef add taco seasoning to your liking
1 can of tomato paste
Shredded Tex-mex cheese
Dice 2 tomatoes
Spread tomato paste on pizza crust.
Now add your cheese
Followed by cooked taco meat
Top with diced tomato
Bake according to crust instructions
