This is all so overwhelming, daunting and humbling. I haven’t had this feeling in a long time. It reminds me of the first day at my new High School. I don’t know anyone, I don’t know where anything is and I have just entered computing 101, remember DOS? Here I am dealing with dashboards, widgets and gravatars. However, I am so excited to start this journey wherever it takes me. To explore, create and meet new people. If this is my first assignment, I suppose the teacher would give me a C-. That’s acceptable for now.
Congratulations my Katherine, you are braver than I am. I remember that first day at Loyola …… driving you there and sitting in the parking lot with you as you nervously decided what to do and finally having the courage to get out of the car and walk towards the school and meeting a young girl who it turned out was also new to the school ….. I believe you told me her name was Rosemary. All very nostalgic and it reminds of the days when you would ask me to correct your grammar ….. so here goes, can’t help being your father and a proud one at that, it’s “wherever” and not “where ever” and it’s “explore, be creative” not “explore, creative” ….. this is a one time critique so don’t be asking me to review your future postings, I’m sure you will be just fine. Love you My Princess.
