Chef Salad with Chicken and Feta

This Delicious Chef Salad is made with Chicken, Bacon and Feta Cheese. It’s topped with Carrots, Cucumber, Tomatoes and a Hard Boiled Egg and is served with a side of Balsamic Dressing.


1/2 of a Head Lettuce  (I used Romaine)

2 Chicken Breasts

1/2 of a Cucumber

1/4 Cup Feta Cheese

2-4 Hard Boiled Eggs

6-8 Strips of Bacon

1 Tomato

1 Carrot


1. Cook the chicken and bacon and hard boil a few eggs.

2. Wash and chop, then plate your lettuce. Then slice up and pile the rest of the ingredients on top.

3. Serve with a side of balsamic dressing.

Note: Soaking your eggs in ice cold water for a few minutes, immediately after cooking will make them easier to peel.

Space the final frontier……


It has been a week and I am feeling more comfortable and less overwhelmed, in fact excited. At least I understand the glossary. Although those darn widgets are confusing in spite of reading and watching the tutorial! When my mind deviates from this blog I find myself reciting the Star Trek introduction and I am not a Trekkie. “Space the final frontier. These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise its five year mission, to explore new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations. To boldly go where no man has gone before.”    Hmmmm………

Inaugural Post

This is all so overwhelming, daunting and humbling.  I haven’t had this feeling in a long time.  It reminds me of the first day at my new High School. I don’t know anyone, I don’t know where anything is and I have just entered computing 101, remember DOS? Here I am dealing with dashboards, widgets and gravatars.  However, I am so excited to start this journey wherever it takes me. To explore, create and meet new people. If this is my first assignment, I suppose the teacher would give me a C-. That’s acceptable for now.
